Police, Fire, Lake Authorities

The local volunteer Fire Department number is: 301-387-5252.

This page is intended to help you reach the appropriate authorities when problems arise on or near the Deep Creek Village community. This includes the need for the following:
  • Police support for dealing with unruly behavior (after hours noise, aggressive behavior, trespassing, etc.)
  • Fire Marshall support when guests or residents have open fires of any type too near any building.
  • DNR support for guests or residents docking illegally, especially in your assigned slot.
  • Any other activity occurring within the community that you feel should not be happening.
Look for community rules and regulations on the Governing Documents page on this site if you need them.

No matter what the problem, begin by contacting the Maryland State Police Barracks at:
301-387-1101
  • They are located near the community (<2 miles) at 67 Friendsville Road, McHenry, MD 21541.
  • They are the primary Point of Contact for any problems that may require the presence of an authority.
  • They will forward you to any other area authority as needed, based on your circumstances.
  • They ask that you call for help before taking any action on your own.
